River Goodmanson (SO, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) was named the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Men's Golf Athlete of the Week, it was announced on Tuesday.
River Goodmanson claimed his first collegiate medalist finish, leading the 13 golfers in Saturday's Augsburg-Northwestern-St. Paul dual meet with a 3-over-par 75 at Keller Golf Course in Maplewood, closing the 2021-22 season for the Auggies. His 75 score marked his 10th round in the 70s among his 12.5 rounds this season.
On the year, Goodmanson finished fourth on the team in scoring average with a 78.5 average and a .553 (261-211) win-loss percentage. Goodmanson has a 77.3 career stroke average (2,048 strokes, 26.5 rounds) and a .609 (561-360) career win-loss percentage.
