TOURNAMENT RESULTS

EDINA, Minn. – With four individuals finishing among the top 30 in a strong field, the Augsburg University men's golf team finished in third place at the Gustavus Adolphus College Twin Cities Classic, held Saturday to Monday at three Twin Cities golf courses.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• As a team, Augsburg finished in a tie for third place in the 12-school, 18-team tournament with a 54-hole total of 927 (306-305-316).
• Stellan Orvick (JR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) led the way for the Auggies, finishing in a tie for 12th place in the 107-golfer field with a 229 (80-71-78) total. 
• Fritz Belisle (JR, Red Wing, Minn./Roseville Area HS) and Jack Robbel (SR, Bloomington, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) finished in a tie for 20th place, each scoring 233. Belisle had rounds of 75, 79 and 79, while Robbel shot 77, 77 and 79.
• Vincent Weis (JR, Madison, Wis./Edgewood HS) tied for 27th place with a 236 (74-78-84) total, and River Goodmanson (JR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) rounded out the lineup with a 242 (80-82-80) total, tying for 47th.
• Competing for Augsburg B, Owen Goddard (SR, Hopkins, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) shot a career-best 246 (78-85-83), finishing in a tie for 65th. Zach Stewart (SR, Rochester, Minn./Mayo HS) shot 249 (76-86-85) to tie for 76th.
• Andrew Hicks (JR, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) scored 261 (86-88-87) and Sawyer Bailey (JR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Minnetonka HS) shot 263 (88-93-82).

• Augsburg finishes the fall half of the 2022-23 season at the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, to be held next Saturday to Monday (10/1-3) at Bunker Hills Golf Course in Coon Rapids, Minn.
