TOURNAMENT RESULTS
HAM LAKE, Minn. – With three individuals finishing among the top nine, the Augsburg University men's golf team claimed the team title at its season-opening Augsburg Fall Invitational, held Saturday and Sunday at Majestic Oaks Golf Course.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• As a team, Augsburg won the title in the nine-school, 12-team tournament with a two-day total of 586 (292-294), tied for the third-best 36-hole score in the modern history of the Augsburg men's golf program (since 1994-95). Augsburg won the team title by one stroke over Bethel's 587.
• Augsburg was paced by
Stellan Orvick (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) and
Vincent Weis (SR, Madison, Wis./Edgewood HS), who tied for fourth place in the 68-golfer field with 1-under-par 143 totals (Orvick 71-72, Weis 70-73). Weis' total was a career-best 36-hole score in his two seasons as an Auggie, while Orvick's total was one stroke off his career-best 36-hole score.

Sawyer Bailey (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Minnetonka HS) finished with a 6-over-par 150 (73-77) to tie for ninth place.

Fritz Belisle (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS) finished in a tie for 18th with a 153 (81-72) total, and
River Goodmanson (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) shot 157 (78-79) to tie for 32nd place.
• For Augsburg's B squad, transfer
Luke Mountain (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) made his Augsburg debut with a 156 (79-77) total, tying for 30th place.
Reece Moore (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) began his collegiate golf career with a 159 (82-77) score, tying for 35th.

Hunter Ubel (FY, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) made his collegiate debut with a 178 (92-86) score, and
Andrew Hicks (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) shot 185 (91-94).
• Competing as individuals,
Vince Bertram (FY, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot 181 (93-88), and
Zach Woodhead (SR, Orono, Minn./Orono HS) shot 189 (94-95).
