MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University men's golfer Zachary Reim (SO, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy HS) has earned Cobalt Golf Division III All-America Scholar Team honors from the Golf Coaches Association of America, it was announced on Monday.

A two-sport athlete and a finance major with a 4.00 grade-point average, Reim earned his first Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors in men's hockey and men's golf this spring, while also earning College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honors.

In golf, Reim finished second on the team in scoring this season, finishing with a 78.7 stroke average in 15 rounds (1,180 strokes) and a .492 (258-266) win-loss percentage. He has competed in 18 rounds in his college career, with a 79.0 career stroke average (1,422 strokes) and a .450 (282-344) win-loss percentage. In hockey, he earned All-MIAC honors in hockey for the first time this season as a defender.

In order to qualify for GCAA/Cobalt Golf Division III All-America Scholar honors, individuals must be sophomores, juniors or seniors, must have competed in 50 percent or more of a team's competitive rounds during the current season, have a season stroke average of 79.0 or better and have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA. Augsburg has now had 24 men's golfers earn GCAA Division III All-America Scholar recognition since the 2006-07 season. 

As a team, Augsburg finished with a 315.3 team stroke average in 2026-27 under 12th-year head coach Eric Rolland.
