MAPLEWOOD, Minn. –
River Goodmanson (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) shot a career-best 2-under-par 70, earning his second career medalist honor for the Augsburg University men's golf team, in its dual-meet victory over the University of Northwestern-St. Paul on Thursday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg golfers finished in six of the top seven places to claim the 30-stroke dual-meet victory, 293 to 323. Augsburg's 293 is its second-best team round of the season.
• Goodmanson shot a 2-under-par 70, bettering his previous season-best by four strokes, to earn medalist honors.

Stellan Orvick (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS and
Sawyer Bailey (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Minnetonka HS) tied for second, each shooting a 2-over-par 74.
•
Fritz Belisle (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Roseville Area HS) shot 3-over-par 75 to finish in fourth place.
•
Hunter Ubel (FY, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS), competing as an individual, shot a season-best 77 -- his third round in the 70s this season -- to finish in fifth place.

Vincent Weis (SR, Madison, Wis./Edgewood HS) shot 79 to place seventh and
Nick Mountain (SO, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) rounded out the Auggie team lineup with an 83 score, placing 11th.

Andrew Hicks (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) shot 90 and
