TOURNAMENT RESULTS
LE SUEUR, Minn. – Augsburg University men's golfer
Stellan Orvick (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) earned his second career medalist honor, claiming the title at the Gustavus Adolphus College Bobby Krig Invitational, held on Saturday and Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Orvick shot a 2-over-par 143, with a 1-under-par 70 on Saturday and 3-over-par 73 on Sunday, to tie for first place with Bethel University's Jacob Ferrin in the 84-golfer tournament. Orvick then claimed medalist honors on the first playoff hole with Ferrin. His 143 total is now tied for the 12th-best 36-hole round for an Auggie since the 1994-95 season and the third-best 36-hole score of Orvick's collegiate career. Orvick now has a team-leading 73.0 stroke average this season, and has a 74.6 career stroke average.
• As a team, Augsburg finished in a tie for seventh place in the 11-school, 14-team tournament with a two-day total of 612 (304-308).

Sawyer Bailey (SR, Eden Prairie, Minn./Minnetonka HS) finished with a 156 (76-80) total to tie for 33rd place.

River Goodmanson (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) shot 159 (82-77) to tie for 47th, and
Vincent Weis (SR, Madison, Wis./Edgewood HS) rounded out the Auggie lineup with a 165 (87-78) total, finishing in a tie for 59th.
Fritz Belisle (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Roseville Area HS) shot a first-round 76, but was unable to compete on Sunday.
• Five Auggies competed as individuals, led by
Hunter Ubel (FY, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS), who shot 167 (84-83).
Luke Mountain (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) shot 169 (83-86).

Vince Bertram (FY, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot 170 (86-84),
Reece Moore (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) shot 170 (86-84), and
Andrew Hicks (SR, Minnetonka, Minn./Minnetonka HS) shot 197 (99-99).

• Augsburg closes the 2023-24 season next Saturday and Sunday (4/27-28) at the Saint John's Invitational, held at Wapicada Golf Course in Sauk Rapids, Minn., and the Monticello Country Club in Monticello, Minn.
