TOURNAMENT RESULTS

ALTOONA, Wis. – The Augsburg University men's golf team competed at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Frank Wrigglesworth Invitational on Sunday and Monday, finishing 16th with a 648 total.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Augsburg was paced by Stellan Orvick (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS), who placed in a tie for 39th place in the 104-player meet with a 36-hole total of 157 (79-78). River Goodmanson (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) finished in a tie for 48th place with a 159 (78-81) total.
• Vince Bertram (SO, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot 167 (88-79) to tie for 83rd place, Hunter Ubel (SO, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) finished in 87th place with a 169 (86-83) score, and Luke Mountain (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) finished in 94th place with a 174 (84-90) score. 
• Competing as individuals, Nick Mountain (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) tied for 89th with a 172 (87-85) total, Cole Jonart (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) shot 178 (89-89) and Max Gundlach (FY, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) shot 182 (93-89).
• As a team, the Auggies finished in 16th place in the 11-school, 18-team meet with a 648 (327-321) score.

• Augsburg competes at the Gustavus Adolphus College Twin Cities Classic from Sept. 28-30 at three area golf courses -- the Elk River (Minn.) Country Club, the Links at Northfork in Ramsey, Minn., and the Le Sueur (Minn.) Country Club.
