TOURNAMENT RESULTS
MAPLE PLAIN, Minn. –
River Goodmanson (SR, Buffalo, Minn./Buffalo HS) finished in 46th place in a field that included both NCAA Division I and III players, leading the way for the Augsburg University men's golf team at the Bethel University/University of Minnesota Golf Classic, held Saturday and Sunday at Pioneer Creek Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Goodmanson finished with a 54-hole total of 229 (80-74-75), finishing in 46th place in the 109-player tournament, which featured teams from 11 Division III schools and individuals from Division I teams competing at the Minnesota Gopher Invitational being held at Windsong Farm Golf Club nearby. Goodmanson's score was tied for the 25th-best among Division III golfers.
• As a team, the Auggies finished in 15th place in the 15-team meet with a 976 (339-322-315) total. One round was played on Saturday and two rounds were played on Sunday.

Stellan Orvick (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) finished in a tie for 75th place with a 237 (76-80-81) total, while
Luke Mountain (SR, Woodbury, Minn./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) finished in a tie for 100th place with a 254 (91-86-87) score.

Vince Bertram (SO, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot a career-best 259 (92-85-82) to finish in 102nd place, and
Nick Mountain (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) rounded out the Augsburg lineup in a tie for 105th place with a 274 (98-83-93) total.
• Competing as individuals,
Hunter Ubel (SO, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) tied for 81st with a career-best 241 (77-83-81) score,
Max Gundlach (FY, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) shot 274 (86-92-96) to finish in a tie for 105th, and
Cole Jonart (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) shot 286 (92-101-93) to finish 107th.
