MEET RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. –
Allison Hookom (JR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) and
Kevin Romero Rivera (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Columbia Heights HS) recorded event victories for Augsburg University, as the Auggies opened the 2025 indoor track and field season at the University of St. Thomas Tommie Invitational on Friday.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Hookom opened her junior season with an event victory in the women's 600-meter dash, finishing in 1:40.85. She also placed 20th in the 60-meter dash in 8.42 seconds.

Annabel Lantz (SR, Afton, Minn./Stillwater Area HS) finished third in the 600-meter dash (2:09.85).
•
Brookelyn Young (FY, Blaine, Minn./Blaine HS) finished sixth in the 200-meter dash (29.49 seconds) and 32nd in the 60-meter dash (8.80).
•
Takia Campbell (SO, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) finished 31st in the 60-meter dash (8.78).

Alwena Brix (FY, Plouay, France/Lycee Jean Mace, Rennes) and
Davi Worman (SO, Edina, Minn./Groves Academy HS) competed in the mile run, finishing in 13th (5:55.40) and 15th (7:20.85), respectively.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Romero Rivera made his collegiate debut with an event victory in the men's 400-meter dash, finishing in 57.64 seconds, just ahead of teammate
Evan Bitengo (FY, Coon Rapids, Minn./Anoka HS), who finished in 58.25 seconds. Bitengo also finished in fourth place in the 200-meter dash, in 25.63 seconds.

Falens Byron (FY, Naples, Fla./Palmetto Ridge HS) finished third in the 200-meter dash (25.37 seconds) and 24th in the 60-meter dash (7.39 seconds).
Success Famuyide (JR, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS) finished fifth in the 200 in 25.80 seconds.

Brandon Travis (FY, Baton Rouge, La./Juan Seguin HS) made his collegiate debut in three events, finishing in third place in the triple jump (12.42 meters/40-feet-9), ninth in the long jump (5.35 meters/17-feet-6.75) and 21st in the 60-meter dash (7.36).

Yohans Yemane (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Mounds View HS) finished fourth in the 600-meter dash (1:44.13).

Henry Nelson (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) finished fifth in the mile run (5:00.68), with
Pollei Buux Caliyare (SR, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) finishing seventh (5:54.41).
•
Joshua Lor (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Edison HS) made his debut with a 10.26-meter (33-feet-8) performance in the shot put, finishing eighth.

• Augsburg competes at the University of Minnesota Jack Johnson Classic next Saturday (1/25). Field events start at 10:30 a.m., with track events starting at 12 p.m.
