ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University track and field teams had several strong performances at the University of St. Thomas Easter Invitational on Thursday.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Brandon Travis (FY, Baton Rouge, La./Juan Seguin HS) had the top individual finish for the Auggie men, placing second in the long jump with a 6.33-meter (20-feet-9.25) effort.
• Jamir Horton (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Roseville HS) made his collegiate debut in the hurdles, finishing second in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:01.96.

Joshua Lor (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Edison HS) finished in fifth place in the shot put with an 11.63-meter (38-feet-2.0) effort, with
Julian Cohen (FY, St. Louis Park, Minn./Fusion Academy) finishing eighth in 8.92 meters (29-feet-3.25).

Evan Bitengo (FY, Coon Rapids, Minn./Anoka HS) finished seventh in the 400-meter dash in 54.62 seconds, with
Kyler Badwarrior (FY, Shakopee, Minn./V. Sue Cleveland (N.M.) HS) finishing in eighth in 55.13 seconds.

Falens Byron (FY, Naples, Fla./Palmetto Ridge HS) set a personal-best time of 11.32 seconds, finishing 10th in the 100-meter dash.

Grayson Harris (SR, Littleton, Colo./Dakota Ridge HS) finished in eighth place in the 5,000-meter run in 17:13.74.
•
Henry Nelson (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) set a season-best 4:24.49 time in the 1,500-meter run to finish 14th.
• The Auggie 4x100-meter relay of
Carlton Onyia (FY, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Champlin Park HS), Byron, Horton and Travis won the event with a 44.30-second time.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Allison Hookom (JR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) claimed an event victory in the women's 800-meter run, finishing in a season-best 2:16.21.
Alwena Brix (FY, Plouay, France/Lycee Jean Mace, Renees) finished in fifth place in 2:28.26.

Ruby Eskin (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Roseville HS) scored a sixth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 1:15.61.
•
Davi Worman (FY, Edina, Minn./Groves Academy) ran a collegiate personal-best 6:43.04 time in the 1,500-meter run.
•
Nacia Griffin (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins) set a season-best time in the 100-meter dash, finishing in 13.35 seconds.
• Danielle Russell finished in eighth place in the shot put with a 5.26-meter (17-feet-3.25) effort.
