TOURNAMENT RESULTS

MONTICELLO, Minn. – The Augsburg University men's golf team finished in a tie for 13th place at the Saint John's University Spring Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Hunter Ubel (SO, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) led the Auggies with a career-best 36-hole score of 156 (77-79), tying for 40th place in the 85-player field.
• Nick Mountain (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) tied for 51st place with a 158 (77-81) total, one stroke off his career-best 36-hole score.
• Max Gundlach (FY, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) also set a season-best 36-hole score, finishing with a 165 (84-81) total to tie for 69th place.
• Vince Bertram (SO, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot 167 (88-79), Cole Jonart (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) shot 179 (94-85) and Zachary Reim (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy) made his collegiate golf debut with a 170 (91-79) total.
• As a team, the Auggies finished in a tie for 13th place in the 10-school, 15-team tournament with a 646 (326-320) total..

• Augsburg finishes its 2024-25 season on Thursday (5/1) at a dual meet against the University of Northwestern-St. Paul at Keller Golf Course in Maplewood, Minn.
