Travis has three top-5 finishes at Hamline meet

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Brandon Travis (FY, Baton Rouge, La./Juan Seguin HS) claimed three top-five finishes, leading the Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams at the Hamline University Invitational on Saturday at Klas Field.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Travis recorded a season-best 10.99-second effort to finish fourth in the men's 100-meter dash, and finished fifth in both jumping events -- the long jump with a 6.52-meter (21-feet-4.75) leap, and the triple jump with a 12.66-meter (41-feet-6.5) effort.
Evan Bitengo (FY, Coon Rapids, Minn./Anoka HS) set a season-best time in the 400-meter dash, finishing in 19th place in 54.60 seconds. Kyler Badwarrior (FY, Shakopee, Minn./V. Sue Cleveland (N.M.) HS) also set a season-best time in the 400, finishing 23rd in 54.76 seconds.
Henry Nelson (JR, St. Louis Park, Minn./St. Louis Park HS) finished in 27th place in the 1,500-meter run in 4:29.94. Grayson Harris (SR, Littleton, Colo./Dakota Ridge HS) recorded a 29th-place finish in the 5,000-meter run, with a 16:46.32 time.
Joshua Lor (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Edison HS) finished in 25th place in the shot put, with a 9.95-meter (32-feet-7.75) effort.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
Allison Hookom (JR, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) led the Augsburg women with a second-place individual finish in the 400-meter dash, with a 58.18-second time.
• Alwena Brix (FY, Plouay, France/Lycee Jean Mace, Rennes) had a pair of top-20 finishes for the Auggies, finishing 19th in the 1,500-meter run (5:33.88) and 20th in the 800-meter run (2:35.46).
• In the 100-meter dash, Nacia Griffin (FY, Golden Valley, Minn./Hopkins HS) finished 23rd in 13.46 seconds, while Takia Campbell (SO, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) finished 26th in 13.61 seconds.
