Auggies wrap up men's golf season

TOURNAMENT RESULTS

MAPLEWOOD, Minn. – Hunter Ubel (SO, Lino Lakes, Minn./Centennial HS) shot a collegiate career-best round of 70, finishing second in the field to lead the Augsburg University men's golf team in a season-ending dual meet with the University of Northwestern-St. Paul on Thursday afternoon at Keller Golf Course.

HOW IT HAPPENED
• Ubel's 2-under-par 70 was good for second among the 19 players competing in Thursday's dual. Northwestern-St. Paul claimed a 287-297 victory over the Auggies, with the Eagles' B team shooting a 308.
• Zachary Reim (FY, Shoreview, Minn./Gentry Academy) shot an even-par 72 to place fourth in the meet.
Nick Mountain (JR, Woodbury, Minn./Hill-Murray HS) tied for 11th with a 77 score, while Vince Bertram (SO, St. Cloud, Minn./St. Cloud Tech HS) shot 78 to place 14th.
Max Gundlach (FY, New Brighton, Minn./Irondale HS) shot 79 to place 15th, and Conner Schneider (FY, Sun Prairie, Wis./Shattuck-St. Mary's HS) shot 81 to place 17th.
• Competing as individuals, Cole Jonart (FY, St. Paul, Minn./Highland Park HS) improved five strokes from his collegiate debut last week with a 74 total, finishing in a tie for sixth. Logan Gravink (FY, Andover, Minn./Andover HS) shot 87 to tie for 18th.
• As a team, Augsburg finished its 2024-25 campaign with a 320.2 season stroke average.
