MEET OF THE UNSAINTLY RESULTS
ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Recording 21 personal bests, the Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams shined in their final meet before the Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Outdoor Championships, at the Hamline University Meet of the UnSaintly on Friday and Saturday.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Evan Bergemann (FY, Lake Crystal, Minn./Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial HS) shattered his previous personal best in the javelin throw by nearly 11 feet, finishing second in the event on Saturday with a 49.45-meter (162-feet-3) effort. His performance is currently
ninth-best among MIAC competitors in the event.

Sam Rosario (JR, Lakeville, Minn./Eastview HS) claimed ninth-place finishes in both the 100- and 200-meter dashes, with a 11.23-second time in the 100 and a personal-best 22.97-second time in the 200. His 200-meter time is now 19th-fastest in the MIAC, while his season-best 100-meter time of 11.18 seconds is 11th-fastest in the conference.

Taron Busby (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hope Academy HS) finished in 23.64 seconds,
Parker Blake (FY, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished in 23.96 seconds,
Thuc Trinh (SR, Farmington, Minn./Eastview HS) finished in 24.20 seconds and
Alex Pruitt (JR, Rochester, Minn./Lourdes HS) finished in 24.28 seconds. Trinh also set a personal-best time in the 100-meter dash (11.75 seconds), while Blake also set a best time in the 400-meter dash (53.37 seconds). Busby ran a season-best 11.45 seconds in the 100, and Pruitt also ran a solid 53.88-second time in the 400.

Patrick Deng (JR, Crookston, Minn./Crookston HS) finished seventh in the 400-meter hurdles in 1:01.08 and fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.90 seconds, both season-best times.

Ryan Moore (SR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) set a new personal best in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with an 11:00.35, fourth-place finish, and
Jackson Gerber (JR, Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS) set a new personal-best with a 4:31.50 time in the 1,500-meter run.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Kenna Bannister (SR, Lakefield, Minn./Jackson County Central HS) set two new personal bests in the throws. On Friday, Bannister set a new mark in the hammer throw with a 39.27-meter (128-feet-10) effort, an improvement of nearly four feet. On Saturday, she finished eighth in the shot put with an 11.93-meter (39-feet-1.75) throw, improving her career best by a foot-and-a-half. Bannister is currently ranked ninth among MIAC competitors in the shot put and 13th in the hammer throw.

Jada Lewis (SO, Minneapolis, Minn./Edison HS) shined in the sprints, setting a new personal best with a 25.60-second, fifth-place finish in the 200-meter dash, while tying her personal-best time with a 12.33-second, fourth-place finish in the 100-meter dash. Her 100-meter time is now second-fastest among MIAC competitors, while her 200-meter time is tied for second-fastest.

Shadin Elkhair (FY, Fridley, Minn./Fridley HS) set new personal bests in both the hammer throw and discus, with a 32.32-meter (106-feet-0) effort in the hammer throw -- a nearly five-foot improvement -- and a 29.03-meter (95-feet-3) throw in the discus -- an incredible 26-feet-4 improvement.

Ann Sheely (SO, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) took nearly eight seconds off her previous personal-best time in the 1,500-meter run, finishing in 5:11.54, while
Grace Hartman (SO, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) improved her best time by two seconds with a 5:34.39 effort. Cait Olson (SR, Onamia, Minn./Onamia HS) took four seconds off her previous best time in the 800-meter run with a 2:41.31 clocking.

Destiny Cummings (FY, Andover, Minn./Andover HS) recorded a 10.62-meter (34-feet-10.25) effort in the shot put, while recording a 27.72-meter (90-feet-11) effort in the discus throw.
