NORTHFIELD, Minn. – The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams traveled to Northfield for the second time in the last three weeks on Saturday, picking up 13 top-five finishes at the Carleton College Meet of the Hearts.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Eman Clement (FY, Stone Mountain, Ga./Towers HS) secured the first event victory of his young career, winning the 400-meter dash with a time of 54.43 seconds.
Hassan Abdi (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) also competed in the event, placing fifth and setting a new personal record with a time of 57.30 seconds.

Mohammed Bati (SO, Dodola, Ethiopia/GAP School) claimed another event win in the 1000-meter run, clocking a time of 2:34.71, the sixth-fastest time in school history, in his collegiate debut in the event. Bati also competed in the mile, placing second with a time of 4:21.75.

Getinat Asfaw (SR. Eagan, Minn./Rosemount HS) placed third in the 1000-meter run, clocking a time of 2:36.28.
• In the men's 800 meter,
Shareef Oty (FY, Burnsville, Minn./Burnsville HS) placed third and set a new personal record with a time of 2:02.05.

Kameron Smith (FY, Arlington, Texas/Mansfield Summit HS) made his collegiate debut in a pair of events and picked up top-three finishes in every event he participated in, placing third in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.83 seconds, third in the triple jump after clearing 12.10 meters, and third in the long jump with a mark of 6.15 meters.

Corey Deloach Jr. (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Robbinsdale Cooper HS) placed fifth in the shot put with a toss of 11.06 meters.
• The 4x400-meter relay squad of Clement, Oty,
Bereket Wondimu (SR, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS), and Asfaw placed second with a time of 3:32.26.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Allison Hookom (SO, Andover, Minn./Anoka HS) shattered her personal record in the 400-meter dash, winning the event with a time of 57.94 seconds, the second-fastest clocking in program history.

Annabel Lantz (JR, Afton, Minn./Stillwater Area HS) placed fifth in the 600-meter run with a time of 2:12.03.

Takia Campbell (FY, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) made her collegiate debut in the 55-meter dash, clocking a time of 7.97 seconds to place sixth.
•
Gracie Johnson (SR, Red Wing, Minn./Red Wing HS) placed 10
th in the 3000-meter run with a 10:43.88 clocking.
