MINNEAPOLIS -- Twelve Augsburg University softball student-athletes earned Easton/National Fastpitch Coaches Association Division III All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the 2024-25 school year, it was announced recently.
To qualify for Easton/NFCA Division III All-America Scholar-Athlete honors, student-athletes must record a 3.5 or better cumulative GPA for the 2024-25 school year.
Torrie Rehder (SR, Goodhue, Minn./Goodhue HS) received the award for the fourth straight year. Earning the honor for the third straight year were
Jayden Evenson (JR, Mosinee, Wis./Mosine HS),
Zoie Johnson (SR, Carlton, Minn./Esko HS),
Hannah Larson (JR, Menomonie, Wis./Elk Mound HS). Earning the award for the second straight year were
Maddalyn Deal (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Osseo HS),
Olivia Funk (SR, Lewiston, Minn./Lewiston-Altura HS) and
Lola Pilon (SO, Farmington, Minn./Mounds Park Academy HS).
Eleven Auggie softball players earned
Academic All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors this school year. Funk, Johnson, Pilon, Rehder and
Morgann Paaske (SR, Crystal Lake, Ill./Crystal Lake Central HS) were named as
College Sports Communicators Academic All-District honorees.
Under first-year head coach
Laura Heise, Augsburg finished with a 15-25 overall record and 6-16 conference mark in 2025.
