ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams split its distance and sprinters/field event competitors to compete in four meets over the Easter weekend, producing several personal-best performances.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• At the University of St. Thomas Tomcat Invitational on Thursday, the Auggie men were paced byÂ
Sam Rosario (JR, Lakeville, Minn./Eastview HS), who set his second straight personal-best time in the 100-meter dash, finishing seventh in a 34-runner field in 11.18 seconds, a time now the 10th-fastestÂ
among MIAC competitors in the event so far this season. TeammateÂ
Taron Busby (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Hope Academy HS) set a season-best time of 11.57 seconds in the 100, finishing 17th. He also finished 21st in a 37-runner field in the 200-meter dash, finishing in 23.82 seconds, and 18th in the long jump with a 5.60-meter (18-feet-4.50) effort.

Evan Bergemann (FY, Lake Crystal, Minn./Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial HS) finished eighth in a deep field in the javelin throw at St. Thomas, with a 40.83-meter (133-feet-11) effort. His personal-best 46.26-meter (151-feet-9), set earlier this season, currently ranks 11th in the MIAC.

Alex Bailey (SO, Palmer Lake, Colo./Lewis-Palmer HS) finished in a tie for eighth place in the high jump at St. Thomas, recording a 1.80-meter (5-feet-10.75) clearance. His career-best 1.85 meters (6-feet-0.75) clearance, set earlier this season, stands in a tie for sixth-highest among MIAC competitors.
• Auggie distance runners ran at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge on Friday.
Ryan Moore (SR, St. Michael, Minn./St. Michael-Albertville HS) led the Auggies with a personal-best 17:02.86 effort in the 5,000-meter run.
Kevin Sethre (FY, Berthoud, Colo./Berthoud HS) and
Greg Miller (SO, Brooklyn Park, Minn./Park Center HS) finished in 36:58.72 and 37:08.65 in the 10,000-meter run -- times good for 20th and 21st in the MIAC so far this season.

Jackson Gerber (JR, Grantsburg, Wis./Grantsburg HS) set a personal-best time in the 1,500-meter run with a 4:31.92 time, while William Poteete (FY, Eau Claire, Wis./Catalyst Prepatory Academy) finished in 5:02.92.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• At the St. Olaf College Manitou Classic on Thursday, thrower
Kenna Bannister (JR, Lakefield, Minn./Jackson County Central HS) had the top Auggie finish for the Auggie women, placing seventh in the shot put with an 11.16-meter (36-feet-7.50) effort. Her previous career-best 11.48-meter (37-feet-8.0) effort standsÂ
seventh-best among Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference throwers. In the discus, she placed 12th with a 28.44-meter (93-feet-4) toss.

Shadin Elkhair (FY, Fridley, Minn./Fridley HS) finished 13th in the hammer throw with a 28.64-meter (93-feet-11) effort at St. Olaf.
• Two Augsburg distance runners competed in the 1,500-meter run at the Long Beach State (Calif.) Beach Invitational on Friday, with
Ann Sheely (SO, Stillwater, Minn./Stillwater HS) finishing 19th in 5:19.41, and
Grace Hartman (SO, Anoka, Minn./Anoka HS) finishing 23rd in 5:39.93.
• At the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge on Friday,
Caitlin Olson (SR, Onamia, Minn./Onamia HS) finished in 2:47.51 in the 800-meter run, and
Allison Mangan (SO, Roberts, Wis./Wisconsin Virtual Academy HS) finished in 6:49.01 in the 1,500-meter run.
