2021 GCAA DIVISION III PING ALL-REGION TEAMS RELEASE

MINNEAPOLIS -- Augsburg University men's golfer
Stellan Orvick (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./Washburn HS) was named to the
Golf Coaches Association of America/PING NCAA Division III All-Central Region Team, it was announced this week.
Orvick was one of three first-year players named to the 15-player GCAA/PINGÂ NCAA Division III All-Central Region Team, made up of players from Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri and Nebraska.
An
All-Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honoree this spring, finished the 2020-21 season, shortened to a spring-only campaign due to the COVID-19 pandemic, with a 74.1 stroke average in eight rounds, with a .904 (150-16) win-loss percentage. He scored in the 70s in all eight of his rounds this season, including season-best scores of 70 twice. He earned
All-MIAC Championship honors with an eighth-place finish at the 2020-21 MIAC Championships. His 74.1 stroke average ranked
sixth-best among MIAC men's golfers this season.
It marks the sixth time that an Augsburg men's golfer has earned GCAA All-Central Region honors since the 2015-16 campaign.
Brett Buckingham was honored in both 2017-18 and 2018-19, Brett Gaustad was honored in both 2016-17 and 2015-16, and Brandon Jones was honored in 2015-16.

Eric Rolland, Augsburg's men's golf team finished the 2020-21 season with a 320.5 team stroke average.
