SAN DIEGO, Calif. – The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams kicked off their outdoor seasons on Saturday at the Ross and Sharon Irwin Invitational hosted by Point Loma Nazarene University.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Brianna Parsons (SO, Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul HS) made her outdoor debut, finishing 20
th in the 100-meter dash with a time of 13.24 seconds.
•
Jordan Terry (SR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) finished 12
th in the long jump with a distance of 4.92m (16'1")
•
Mya Bishop (SO, St. Paul Minn./Highland HS) finished 25
th in the 400 meter with a time of 1:04.83.
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•
Brandon Doe (FY, Roseville, Minn./Irondale HS) made his outdoor collegiate debut, finishing ninth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.22 seconds.
•
Sakariya Hussien (JR, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) took home fourth place in the 3000-meter steeplechase, clocking a time of 10:04.00.
Max Jacobson (FY, Belle Plaine, Minn./Zurich International School) also made his outdoor collegiate debut in the event, finishing sixth with a time of 10:42.56.

Varney Conneh (JR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished ninth in the 100-meter dash, clocking a time of 11.10 seconds.

Getinat Asfaw (SO, Eagan, Minn./Rosemount HS) finished 16
th in the 800 meter with a new personal-best time of 1:58.76.
