NORTHFIELD, Minn. -- The Augsburg University men's and women's track and field teams competed at the Carleton College Meet of the Hearts on Saturday afternoon.
WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
•Â
Mya Bishop (SO, St. Paul Minn./Highland HS) finished in seventh in a field of 25 runners in the 400-meter, clocking a time of 1:05.65.

Brianna Parsons (SO, Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul HS) set a new personal record with a time of 7.86 seconds in the 55-meter dash, good for 11
th place out of 39 runners.

Ingri Ramirez (JR, West St. Paul, Minn./South St. Paul HS) finished sixth in the 600-meter with a new personal-best time of 2:21.94.

Jordan Terry (SR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) was the lone competitor in the field events for the Auggie women, finishing 10
th in the long jump with a distance of 4.85 meters (15' 11").
MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS

Varney Conneh (JR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) grabbed second place in a field of 38 runners in the 55-meter dash with a time of 6.65 seconds.
Taron Busby (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hope Academy HS) finished eighth in the 55m with a time of 6.88 seconds.

Sakariya Hussien (JR, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) was less than a second out of first place in the 1000-meter, clocking a new personal best 2:36.03 for a second-place finish.

Brandon Doe (FY, Roseville, Minn./Irondale HS) recorded a new personal-best time of 8.18 seconds in the 55-meter hurdles, good for second place overall. Â

Getinat Asfaw (SO, Eagan, Minn./Rosemount HS) finished third in a field of 13 in the 600-meter, clocking a new personal record with a time of 1:27.33.

Bereket Wondimu (SO, Eagan, Minn./Burnsville HS) grabbed an eighth-place finish in the 800-meter and set a new personal best with a time of 2:05.88.
