MEET RESULTS

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Augsburg University track and field team wrapped up its last competition before the conference championships on Friday afternoon, nabbing 17 top-ten finishes at the Meet of the UnSaintly hosted by Hamline University.

MEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Evan Bergemann (SR, Lake Crystal, Minn./Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial HS) claimed the top spot in the javelin throw with a distance of 55.69 meters (182' 8"). That mark ranks second in the MIAC and 42nd in all of NCAA Division III this season.
• Varney Conneh (JR, Champlin, Minn./Champlin Park HS) finished in third place in the 100-meter dash, recording a new personal record with a time of 10.96 seconds. Taron Busby (SR, Minneapolis, Minn./Hope Academy HS) also grabbed a top-ten finish in the event, landing in sixth place with a time of 11.14 seconds.
• Sakariya Hussien (JR, Hopkins, Minn./Hopkins HS) was the only other Auggie to finish in the top three, landing in third place and setting a personal record in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:56.34.
• Fritz Landherr (JR, Tracy, Minn./Tracy Area HS) and Busby finished fifth and seventh in the 200-meter dash with times of 23.87 seconds and 24.37 seconds, respectively.
• Landherr and Sharrod Longs Jr. (FY, Minneapolis, Minn./South HS) landed back-to-back in the 400-meter, clocking times of 52.28 seconds and 52.81 seconds to finish in seventh and eighth place.
• Getinat Asfaw (SO, Eagan, Minn./Rosemount HS) nabbed a fourth-place finish in the 1500 meter with a time of 4:04.02.
• Cody Rieder (JR, Delano, Minn./ Delano HS) finished in fifth place in the 5000 meter with a time of 16:17.70.
• Brandon Doe (FY, Roseville, Minn./Irondale HS) landed in sixth place in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 17.13 seconds.

WOMEN'S HIGHLIGHTS
• Jordan Terry (SR, Shakopee, Minn./Shakopee HS) was the top overall finisher for the Auggie women, finishing in fifth place in the long jump with a distance of 4.91 meters. She also competed in the 100-meter dash, placing 19^th with a new personal-best time of 14.06 seconds.
• Brianna Parsons (SO, Oakdale, Minn./North St. Paul HS) also set a new personal record, placing ninth in the 100-meter dash with a time of 12.99 seconds.
• Mya Bishop (SO, St. Paul Minn./Highland HS) grabbed a pair of 10^th-place finishes, clocking a time of 28.47 seconds in the 200-meter dash and finishing the 400 meter in 1:03.04.
