An outstanding offensive linemen for the Auggies in the late 70s and early 80s, Wick earned All-MIAC first-team honors his senior season, and earned All-MIAC honorable-mention recognition his sophomore and junior seasons. His senior season, Augsburg finished 5-5, including a 21-10 victory at conference power St. John’s. He earned NAIA Academic All-District 13 honors his senior season. A mathematics and business/economic double major, Wick earned Dean’s List honors five semesters at Augsburg. After graduating from Augsburg, Wick began his business career in the computer/telecommunications industries, first at Northwestern Bell, AT&T, Lucent Technologies and now at Avaya. He has served in various management, sales and technical support positions, and has been selected to the sales “Achievers Club” seven times. He has served as a coach for football and hockey, as well as software manager for different age groups as part of the St. Louis Park and Minnetonka recreation programs. He has also served as a volunteer photographer for football, hockey and soccer teams at Hopkins High School. He has been active on several committees and youth groups with his church, and was recently awarded a “Building Responsible Youth” award from the Minnetonka Rotary Club. Wick currently lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota.
