Tiffany Magnuson Urseth, Class of 2009 … A two-sport athlete at Augsburg, Urseth was a standout player on both the women’s hockey and softball teams. As a member of the women’s hockey team, Tiffany ranks second all-time with 65 goals in her 98 games, also adding 34 assists for 99 career points. In softball, she started 151 of her 156 games, hitting .384 with 106 runs scored, 23 doubles, 16 triples, and three home runs. She was just the second player in Augsburg history to earn All-MIAC honors in all four years of her career, receiving the honors in both hockey and softball. In 2009, she was the recipient of the conference’s Sheila Brown Award for most outstanding senior student-athlete in women’s hockey. A finance major and business administration minor at Augsburg, she was named Augsburg’s women’s honor athlete in 2009. Since graduating, Tiffany has worked in the financial industry in the areas of home mortgages and private equity fund management, and lives in Bloomington, Minnesota with her husband, J.E., and daughter, Nelly.
