Hagen founded the gymnastics program at Mahtomedi High School during the first year of interscholastic competition for high school girls. She has coached numerous girls tennis players to the state meet and was once named one of Minnesota’s Outstanding Special Olympics Volunteers. She teaches elementary and adaptive physical education and coaches tennis at United South Central High School.
