A standout wrestler, Miller was undefeated in dual meet matches all four years at Augsburg. He earned All-American honors in 1969 and was named Augsburg Honor Athlete that same year. He was captain for both his junior and senior seasons. As a freshman, sophomore and junior he won the MIAC wrestling title and was runner up his senior season. In 1969, he was a member of MIAC championship and All-Lutheran championship teams, which finished 11th in the nation. Miller went on to receive his MA and Ed.S. from the University of Minnesota in Educational Administration. He has been previously employed by Anoka-Hennepin and Westonka School District as an administrator and is currently is at Robbinsdale Area School as the Academic Program Support Director. Over the years Miller has served in leadership positions with many profession organizations including the Minnesota Association of School Administrators and the Minnesota Administrators for Special Education.
