Juli Gustafson Wilder made the most of her two seasons of softball at Augsburg, earning All-MIAC honors as a shortstop in both 1991 and 1992, while also earning NFCA All-West Region honors in the 1991 season. In her two years, she hit .395, still the third-best career batting average in school history. Her career slugging percentage of .579 is also third-best in school history, and her 27 doubles are sixth-most. She was a member of Auggie teams that went 47-22 in her two seasons. She also played basketball and tennis for a season during her Auggie years. Juli was a business administration major at Augsburg, and continued her softball career after graduation, making the third round of tryouts for the 1996 USA Olympic team and playing national traveling fastpitch softball for eight years. Juli worked 18 years in financial services at Thrivent Financial and now works as the RIA platform director at Questar Asset Management, running a fee-based asset management and advice platform. Along the way, she also served for a dozen years as head softball coach and four years as head soccer coach at Robbinsdale Cooper High School. She also served as a board chair for Thrivent Community Crossroads, helping to allocate more than a half-million dollars in charitable funds. Juli and her husband, Jason, have a daughter, Lucy, and live in Maple Grove, Minnesota.
