A three-time All-MIAC selection (1982, 1983, and 1984) at goalie, Finch was a member of Augsburg’s 1982 NAIA national championship squad. He earned tournament MVP and All-American honors in the Auggies’ national title season, and was also a captain of the 1983-84 Auggie team that won the MIAC Thanksgiving Tournament and finished fourth in its first appearance in the NCAA Division III national tournament. He ended his three-year career with a 51-19-1 record and 3.87 goals-against-average, including a 31-7-0 record and 3.51 GAA in MIAC play. A native of Osseo, Minnesota, Finch was named an Augsburg Honor Athlete his senior season. Finch graduated from Augsburg with a business administration major and economics minor. He moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin area in 1987 and currently serves as vice president of sales for Ace Worldwide Moving and Storage. He is also a past president of the Transportation Association of Milwaukee. He lives in West Allis, Wisconsin with his wife, Lori, and two stepdaughters, Jenna Hicks and Sara Hicks.
